Position: Data Science and Analytics Intern

Duration: 9 Weeks (15th June’26 - 14th Aug’26)

Salary: $15.92 hourly (Minimum 20 hours per week)

Role and Responsibilities:

As a Data Science and Data Analytics Intern, you will play a crucial role in supporting our data-driven initiatives within the fast-paced world of financial technology. Collaborating with our experienced team, you will gain hands-on experience in analyzing and interpreting data to drive strategic decisions and innovation:

Data Analysis and Interpretation:

  • Collaborate with the data science team to analyze large datasets, extracting valuable insights and patterns.
  • Assist in cleaning, transforming, and preparing data for analysis using programming languages such as Python or R.
  • Contribute to statistical analysis, hypothesis testing, and predictive modeling to support business objectives.

Market Trends and Insights:

  • Conduct exploratory data analysis to identify trends, customer behaviors, and market opportunities within the fintech sector.
  • Assist in creating data visualizations and dashboards to effectively communicate complex information to stakeholders.

Machine Learning and Predictive Modeling:

  • Assist in the development and implementation of machine learning algorithms for tasks such as customer segmentation, churn prediction, and recommendation systems.
  • Collaborate with the team to fine-tune and optimize models for improved accuracy and performance.

Data-driven Decision Support:

  • Contribute to the generation of data-driven insights and recommendations to guide strategic decision-making within sales, marketing, and product development.
  • Participate in cross-functional discussions to share findings and contribute to actionable solutions.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s / Master’s degree background from a US university.
  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to manipulate and analyze data using programming languages (Python, R, etc.) and data analysis libraries (Pandas, NumPy, SciPy, etc.).
  • Familiarity with data visualization tools (e.g., Matplotlib, Seaborn, Tableau) to effectively present findings.
  • Basic understanding of machine learning concepts and algorithms is a plus.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
