Little Medical School
Location: Long Island/Eastern Queens
Schedule: Flexible, part-time

Are you passionate about healthcare, science, sports medicine, or working with children?
Little Medical School is seeking energetic and dependable instructors to lead engaging medical and veterinary STEM programs for children ages 3-12+. This is an excellent opportunity for healthcare professionals, college students, recent graduates, educators, and others who want to share their knowledge while making a meaningful impact on young learners.
Our instructors bring science to life through interactive role-play, real medical tools, demonstrations, games, and age-appropriate hands-on activities. Programs may explore subjects such as medicine, sports medicine, wilderness medicine, veterinary care, marine biology, and forensic science.
What You'll Do
  • Lead interactive medical, health, science, and veterinary programs for children
  • Teach established lessons using provided curriculum, materials, and equipment
  • Facilitate hands-on activities, demonstrations, games, and role-playing exercises
  • Create an encouraging, inclusive, and well-managed learning environment
  • Adapt your presentation style to different ages and learning needs
  • Set up and organize program materials before and after each session
  • Represent Little Medical School professionally at classes, camps, and special events
