D1 Training Arlington Heights is a premier athletic-based training facility focused on developing athletes and individuals through structured, coach-led performance training. We work with athletes ages 7 and up-from youth and high school athletes to adults-using science-backed programming designed to improve strength, speed, agility, and overall athletic performance.

Position Overview
D1 Training Arlington Heights is seeking a
Strength & Conditioning Coach / Performance Coach to lead group training sessions and personal training for youth athletes, adult members, and sports teams.
This role is ideal for a
motivated coach with experience in strength training, sports performance, or group fitnesswho enjoys working with athletes and creating an engaging training environment.
Candidates with a background in
kinesiology, exercise science, sports performance training, or athletic coaching are strongly encouraged to apply.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead group training sessions for youth athletes, adults, and teams
- Provide personal training and sports performance coaching
- Teach proper strength training techniques, speed mechanics, and injury prevention
- Ensure safe and effective execution of all exercises and workouts
- Modify workouts based on athlete ability levels and goals
- Build strong relationships with athletes and members
- Maintain a high-energy, motivating training environment
- Support athlete development in strength, speed, agility, and conditioning
Required Qualifications
- Personal Training or Strength & Conditioning Certification (NCCA accredited preferred)
- Examples: NSCA, NASM, ACSM, ACE
- Current CPR/AED certification
- Strong knowledge of strength training, functional movement, and athletic performance
- Ability to lead and manage group training sessions
- Excellent communication and motivational skills
Preferred Qualifications
- CSCS (Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist) certification
- Bachelor's degree in Exercise Science, Kinesiology, Sports Science, or related field
- Previous experience coaching youth athletes or sports teams
- Competitive sports background

Compensation: $22.00 - $40.00 per hour
