Exercise Physiologist / Cardiac Stress Test Technician (Part-Time)

We are seeking a motivated Exercise Physiologist, Cardiac Technician, EMT or Stress Test Technician to join our cardiology team. This role is responsible for performing cardiac stress testing, monitoring patient safety, and assisting physicians during diagnostic procedures.

This is an excellent opportunity for candidates with experience in cardiac rehab, exercise physiology, EKG monitoring, or cardiovascular testing who are looking to grow within a collaborative cardiology practice.

Responsibilities

  • Perform treadmill and pharmacologic stress testing
  • Monitor EKG tracings, blood pressure, and patient response during testing
  • Recognize and report cardiac arrhythmias or abnormal patient responses
  • Prepare patients for procedures and explain testing protocols
  • Assist physicians with diagnostic cardiovascular testing
  • Maintain testing equipment and supplies
  • Complete required documentation and reports
  • Provide exceptional patient care and support

Qualifications

Required

  • BLS certification
  • Experience with EKG monitoring, stress testing, exercise physiology, cardiac rehab, or related clinical experience

Preferred

  • ACLS certification
  • Stress lab or cardiology experience
  • ACSM, CCT, or related cardiovascular certification
  • Experience with pharmacologic stress testing
  • Rhythm recognition skills

Schedule

  • Part-time (<30 hours/week)
  • Full-time (40 hours/week)
  • PRN shifts
