Job description

Event Representative (Part-Time)

K&H Home Solutions is a locally owned, family-operated home improvement company that has served Colorado homeowners for over 70 years. We specialize in replacement windows, doors, siding, and roofing, and we're known for quality craftsmanship, long-term customer relationships, and doing business the right way.

As a D5 Capital Holdings company headquartered in Arvada, CO, K&H continues to grow across the Denver Metro area while staying true to the values that built our reputation. Our events team plays a key role in that growth, connecting homeowners with solutions they can trust at the shows, fairs, and community events where they're already spending their time.

About the Role

K&H Home Solutions is hiring part-time Event Representatives to represent our brand at home shows, local street fairs, and community events throughout the Denver Metro area. This role is ideal for confident, outgoing communicators who enjoy meeting new people, sparking genuine conversations with homeowners, and turning interest into scheduled in-home consultations. You'll be the face of K&H at high-traffic events, so energy, professionalism, and a knack for connecting with strangers are key.

What You'll Do

  • Engage homeowners in professional, friendly conversations at events, booths, and street fairs
  • Ask qualifying questions to uncover project interest, timeline, and homeownership status
  • Clearly and accurately explain K&H's products and services to prospective customers
  • Set qualified appointments for in-home consultations with the sales team
  • Represent the K&H brand with professionalism, positivity, and enthusiasm at every event
  • Accurately log leads, appointments, and event details using company tools
  • Set up, maintain, and break down the event booth or display as needed
  • Collaborate with fellow Event Representatives and event staff to maximize foot traffic and conversions

What You Bring

Required:

  • Comfortable and confident speaking with new people in high-traffic, public settings
  • Reliable weekend availability, with flexibility for occasional weekday events
  • Willingness to travel 100% to event locations across the Denver Metro area
  • Strong verbal communication and active listening skills
  • A positive, self-motivated attitude and comfort working independently or as part of a team
  • Ability to stand, walk, and engage with the public for extended periods at events

Preferred:

  • Customer-facing, event, or appointment-setting experience
  • Prior home improvement or lead generation experience
  • Experience with door-to-door canvassing, sales, or brand ambassador work
  • A valid driver's license and reliable transportation to event locations

Why This Role Stands Out

  • Transparent pay structure with a guaranteed base plus uncapped performance bonuses
  • Clear, straightforward performance expectations so you always know how you're doing
  • Supportive team environment with hands-on paid training to set you up for success
  • Flexible part-time schedule that fits around school, a second job, or other commitments
  • Opportunity to represent a respected, 70+ year old Colorado brand at exciting community events
  • Room to grow into other customer-facing or sales roles within K&H
  • Typically 8–10 hours per week, mostly weekends with occasional weekdays

Compensation

  • $20–$35 per hour ($20/hour base pay; strong performers regularly earn $25–$35+/hour)
  • Weekly performance bonuses based on completed demos
  • Additional spiffs and incentives during select high-traffic events
  • Paid training provided, so you're set up to earn from day one
  • Real pay examples shared during the interview process
  • Benefits: employee discount, flexible schedule, paid time off
