As a non-profit community hospital, Fitzgibbon Hospital is vital to the health and well-being of the communities it serves in the Marshall, MO and surrounding area. We are looking for a self-driven compassionate Gift Shop Coordinator to join our Foundation Department. We offer a competitive salary and benefit package.

Shift:

  • Full-Time - 80 hours every two weeks
  • Shift - M-F 8:00am-4:30pm

Gift Shop Coordinator: plays a key dual role in supporting the administrative operations of the Foundation and overseeing the daily management of the organization's on-site gift shop. This position is responsible for assisting with fundraising activities, donor relations, and events, while also managing retail operations including inventory, merchandising, and customer service.

*This position requires frequent standing, walking and lifting up to 35 pounds
Gift Shop Operations:
  • Oversee the daily operations of the gift shop, including staffing, opening/closing procedures, sales transactions, and customer service.
  • Manage inventory: ordering, receiving, stocking, and maintaining accurate records.
  • Create attractive merchandise displays and seasonal promotions to maximize sales.
  • Train, schedule, and supervise gift shop volunteers.
  • Create social media posts.
  • Track sales performance and prepare monthly sales and inventory reports.
  • Ensure cleanliness, organization, and compliance with safety and financial policies.
Foundation Support:
  • Maintain donor databases, process donations, and generate donor acknowledgment letters and reports.
  • Assist in coordination of communications, including newsletters, social media posts, event invitations, and donor updates.
  • Assist in planning, organizing, and executing fundraising campaigns and events.
  • Assist with grant applications and reporting requirements.
  • Maintain confidential donor information with integrity and discretion.


Qualifications:

  • Good communication skills
  • High School Diploma or Equivalent
  • Associate or Bachelorโ€™s Degree - Preferred
