The United Center, located near Chicago's West Side, is the largest arena in the United States. It hosts major concerts, sporting events, and is home to the Chicago Blackhawks (NHL) and Chicago Bulls (NBA).
Position Overview:
Calamos/Glass Clubs are seeking a Server for a union, part-time, event-based role. Servers are responsible for providing high-level food and beverage service in a fast-paced environment.
This is a union role with part-time, event-based scheduling. Open availability-including nights, weekends, and holidays-is required.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Serve food and drinks following Levy standards
  • Take and enter orders accurately using POS system
  • Answer questions about the menu, wine, and specials
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of work areas
  • Assist with food running, table clearing, and resetting
  • Follow responsible alcohol service policies
  • Provide exceptional guest service and upsell when appropriate

Qualifications:
  • Must be 21+ and comply with all alcohol service laws
  • Strong communication and basic math skills
  • Able to stand for long periods and lift up to 25 lbs
  • Knowledge of food and wine is preferred
