Event Security Agent (Part-Time)
Pay Rate: $19.50

Our Fan Experience and Security team is providing world class customer service that exceeds our guests’ expectations and creates memorable moments that last a lifetime. As a member of our Fan Experience and Security team, you will have an opportunity to create a welcoming and exciting environment that brings the best fans in the country to their feet. 

Requirements:

  • Valid Alberta Security Services and Investigator Act License (SSIA)
  • Valid ProServe and ProTech (easily attainable online)
  • Valid Standard First Aid and CPR C is an asset
  • 50% availability; you must be available for 50% of the events scheduled at Rogers Place in a month.

Your Core Accountabilities:

  • Make all our fans feel welcome by greeting them with our signature approach.
  • Enhance our fans’ experience through sharing and educating them about Rogers Place services and products.
  • Promote a safe and kind environment comfortable for guests and staff.
  • Ensure adherence to Rogers Place policies, procedures and code of conduct.
  • Screening fans during ingress using walk-through metal detectors and hand wanding techniques, & conducting bag searches
  • Patrol assigned area(s).
  • Respond to emergency situations.
  • Attend to guest incidents while maintaining a positive demeanor while deescalating the situation.
  • Liaison with Police and Medical during incidents to ensure the safest environment for guests and staff.
  • Complete incident reports and required documentation for all security incidents.
