Hourly rate $25-35 - approximately 16hrs/week

ABOUT THE ROLE
We're a 65-person robotics company in Charlestown, MA looking for a hands-on Office Manager to keep our workplace running smoothly. This is an onsite role with flexible scheduling so you can set a weekly rhythm that works for you, with the need for flexibility to be available for events and quarterly meetings. It's ideal for someone who is highly organized, enjoys hospitality, and takes pride in a well-run office.
OFFICE & FACILITIES

  • Keep the kitchen stocked, track supplies, place orders, manage vendor deliveries
  • Manage the nightly cleaning service, including scheduling, quality checks
  • Serve as the primary point of contact with our landlords and property management on building maintenance, repairs, and access
  • Manage our facilities service vendors

EVENTS & CULTURE

  • Plan and cater monthly Birthdays & Brews
  • Coordinate logistics and catering for quarterly all-hands meetings
  • Book and manage restaurant reservations, travel, and lodging for Board of Directors meetings
  • Plan company outings and seasonal team events

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

  • 2+ years in office management, facilities coordination, executive assistance, hospitality, or event planning
  • Strong vendor management skills and comfort holding service providers accountable
  • Excellent organization and follow-through; you catch the details before anyone else notices them
  • Event planning experience, including catering and budget management
  • Clear, friendly communicator who works well across all levels of a company
  • Able to be onsite regularly
