Job Overview:
Humbug Holiday Lighting of Sioux Empire is seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Permanent and Holiday Lighting Installer to join our growing team. This position is ideal for someone with a knack for precision, a passion for creating visually stunning displays, and a commitment to high-quality craftsmanship. You will work on installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting permanent lighting systems for residential and commercial properties. This role requires the ability to work efficiently in various weather conditions.
This part-time role offers the opportunity to grow into a full-time position based on performance and business needs.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Install permanent lighting systems, ensuring alignment with client specifications and company standards.
  • Install, maintain and take down holiday lights during seasonal times.
  • Troubleshoot and repair lighting systems as needed.
  • Maintain an organized work environment and ensure all tools and equipment are used safely.
  • Communicate effectively with clients to ensure their satisfaction with the installation process.
  • Collaborate with the team to ensure timely project completion.
  • Follow all safety protocols and procedures during installations.
Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Previous experience in lighting installation, electrical work, or related field preferred.
  • Comfortable with using power tools.
  • Comfortable working at heights and in various weather conditions.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work with precision.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot electrical issues.
  • Good physical condition and ability to lift heavy objects (up to 50 lbs).
  • Valid driver's license, auto insurance and reliable transportation.
  • Strong communication and customer service skills.
  • Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends during peak seasons if needed.
