Duties and Responsibilities:
To teach one or more courses within a range of topics, including:
ACC200 - Introduction to Accounting I
ACC210 - Introduction to Accounting II
ACC409 - Accounting Information Systems
ACC413 - Law for the Accountant
ACC415 -Advanced Financial Accounting
ACC418 - Auditing
Responsible for conducting all scheduled classes; meeting course requirements as established by the department/program, preparing course syllabus, grading, maintaining weekly office hours, and being accessible to students.
Minimum Qualifications:
  1. Master of Accounting, Master of Business Administration (with a concentration in Accounting), Master of Laws, or Juris Doctor (with a concentration in Accounting)
  2. Proven ability to teach at the college/university level.

Desirable qualifications:
  1. PhD degree in Accounting.
  2. Recent professional work experience, relevant to the course, at a partner level in a national and/or significant accounting experience in a larger accounting firm.
  3. Evidence of teaching ability in one or more of the areas listed under teaching duties and responsibilities.
