Part Time Epic Rn Analyst information

What are the key skills and qualifications needed to thrive as a Part Time Epic RN Analyst, and why are they important?

To thrive as a Part Time Epic RN Analyst, you need a solid nursing background, Epic system certification, and analytical skills to translate clinical workflows into effective EHR solutions. Familiarity with Epic modules, clinical documentation tools, and healthcare IT standards is essential. Strong communication, problem-solving ability, and adaptability help bridge the gap between clinical staff and IT teams. These skills ensure that EHR systems support patient care efficiently and that ongoing improvements align with clinical best practices.

What are some common challenges faced by Part Time Epic RN Analysts and how can they be addressed?

Part Time Epic RN Analysts often face the challenge of balancing clinical knowledge with technical responsibilities, especially when supporting end-users and troubleshooting issues within the Epic system. Limited hours can make it difficult to stay fully updated on system upgrades or participate in all team meetings. To address these challenges, proactive communication with full-time team members, utilizing Epic’s online training resources, and setting aside dedicated time for skill development can be highly beneficial. Additionally, fostering strong relationships with clinical staff helps streamline workflows and ensures effective collaboration.

What is a Part Time Epic RN Analyst?

A Part Time Epic RN Analyst is a registered nurse who works part-time to support the implementation, optimization, and maintenance of the Epic electronic health record (EHR) system within a healthcare organization. Their responsibilities often include analyzing clinical workflows, providing end-user support, training staff, and ensuring that the Epic system meets clinical and regulatory requirements. They leverage their nursing background to bridge the gap between clinical practice and information technology, helping to improve patient care through effective use of the EHR. This role is ideal for nurses with technical aptitude who are interested in informatics but prefer part-time hours.

Registered Nurse RN — Onsite Employee Health Clinic | Primary Care + Occupational Health | Part-Time Contract

Are you an experienced Registered Nurse who enjoys relationship-based care, early-day schedules, and a clinic setting that blends primary care, occupational health, wellness, and patient education?

We are urgently seeking a dependable, patient-focused RN for a part-time contract assignment in an onsite employee health clinic. This is a great fit for a nurse who has strong Epic EMR experience, enjoys working with an adult employee population, and brings a positive, professional approach to every patient interaction.

This clinic is not a hospital floor. You will support a wellness-focused care model in a professional onsite clinic environment, helping employees access convenient care, preventive support, occupational health services, and day-to-day clinical guidance.

Schedule

Contract dates: May 25, 2026–August 17, 2026
Guaranteed hours: 17 hours/week
Shift: Days / early mornings

Weekly schedule:

  • Monday: 7:00 AM–3:00 PM

  • Tuesday: 5:30 AM–2:30 PM

Meal break: None listed
Contract length: 13 weeks
Temp-to-perm: Possible for the right candidate

What You’ll Do
  • Provide high-quality nursing care in an onsite employee health clinic

  • Support primary care and occupational health visits

  • Perform clinical intake, vitals, documentation, patient education, and follow-up support

  • Use Epic EMR for accurate, timely documentation

  • Assist with occupational health workflows, wellness visits, injury/illness support, and clinic coordination

  • Communicate clearly with patients, providers, and clinic team members

  • Help create a welcoming, professional clinic experience for every patient

What We’re Looking For
  • Active RN license

  • Current BLS through the American Heart Association

  • Epic EMR experience required

  • Primary care experience required

  • Occupational health experience strongly preferred

  • Strong communication skills and a patient-first attitude

  • Reliable, professional, and comfortable working early morning shifts

  • Ability to provide exceptional care in a smaller clinic setting

Why This Role Stands Out
  • Part-time schedule with consistent guaranteed hours

  • Early shifts that leave most afternoons open

  • Onsite employee health environment with a steady adult patient population

  • Blend of primary care, occupational health, and wellness-focused nursing

  • Epic EMR environment

  • Weekly pay

  • 13-week contract with potential temp-to-perm opportunity
