Job description

Join DC Fray Part-Time as a Coordinator/Host!

Is this You?

You're the one who brings the energy.

You're outgoing, reliable, and thrive in social environments. You love sports whether that's team sports, bar sports, or anything in between. Maybe you've played your whole life, coached, or even reffed a few games.

You don't need someone looking over your shoulder you take initiative, solve problems on the fly, and keep things moving. When things get chaotic, you stay cool. When the vibe dips, you bring it back to life.

You don't just show up you make the night.

The Opportunity

As a Coordinator / Host, your mission is simple: make league night the best night of the week.

You're the heartbeat of the experience on the field and off. You set the tone, bring the energy, and represent everything United Fray stands for. Whether it's hyping up players, running a smooth game, or turning post-game into a full-on social scene, you're the one making it happen.

From creating fun traditions to curating the perfect game-night vibe (yes, bringing a speaker is encouraged), you'll help turn leagues into unforgettable experiences.

What You'll Do....MAKE FUN POSSIBLE

  • Create a fun, inclusive, high-energy environment for all players
  • Run league operations like a pro:
    • Set up & break down fields/locations
    • Ref or host games
    • Track scores and manage logistics
    • Transport equipment when needed
  • Be the go-to person on-site communicating, solving problems, and keeping things flowing
  • Act as the face of DC Fray in your community
  • Capture and share the fun tag us, show us, be part of the story

What You Bring to the Field:

You're someone who:

  • Has experience playing or reffing sports (multi-sport = bonus)
  • Brings big energy creative, engaging, and a little extra (in the best way)
  • Loves building community and connecting with people
  • Communicates clearly and confidently
  • Thinks fast and adapts even faster
  • Leads with positivity and inclusivity
  • Represents the brand wherever you go

(Ref certifications are a plus, but not required.)

Requirements Coordinator/Host:

  • Commit to a full season (7-8 weeks depending on league)
  • Arrive 30 minutes early to every game
  • Stick around and engage with players post-game (especially at sponsor bars)
  • Use your smartphone to update scores in real time
  • Create a welcoming, organized, and high-energy environment
  • Attend training + new hire orientation
  • Coordinators:
    • Send 1 weekly league email
    • Manage equipment bags throughout the season (When needed)

What We Offer:

  • $18 - $22/hour (based on experience)
  • Access to free leagues as a FrayLife+ Member
  • $75 in player credits that you can use towards leagues that are not free
  • Earn extra money through our staff referral code program
  • $100 referral bonus

Why You'll Love It:

    • Meet dozens (sometimes hundreds) of new people
    • Stay active while you work
    • Flexible schedule around school or your 9-5
    • Free access to leagues, events, and social experiences
    • Fray swag + exclusive perks

    Who We Are
