Job description

The Environmental Services Technician performs a variety of duties to maintain clean, sanitary, orderly and attractive conditions for patients, families and employees. This position is responsible for dusting, mopping, disinfecting, gathering waste and other duties as needed under the supervision of a team leader. The Environmental Services Techย should provide a clean, safe environment for our patients, their families and our staff.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • Performs daily, weekly and monthly cleaning tasks and other duties as assigned by supervisor.
  • Maintains expected inventory of supplies in housekeeping carts, janitor closets, soiled utility room and shower rooms. Restock and request an order when supplies are low.
  • Follows all safety and infection control protocols to prevent infection and cross contamination.

  • Wednesday and Friday 7:00am -3:30pmย 

Education:

High School diploma or equivalent preferred.

Experience:

No experience required. 1 year of healthcare experience preferred.
