MLS, MT, MLT’s and those with applicable ASCP categorical certifications are welcome to apply. As a member of our Laboratory Medicine team, you will get to work with some of the leading experts in a number of specialty fields every day. The department’s fast-paced team-oriented atmosphere creates an environment that is progressive, challenging and rewarding—both personally and professionally.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Understands and adheres to Performance Standards, Policies and Behaviors.
  • Demonstrate knowledge and adhere to laboratory and hospital policies and procedures.
  • Demonstrates technical competency by performing a wide variety of laboratory techniques. These include moderate to highly complex tests.
  • Demonstrates sufficient knowledge and skills to independently operate instrumentation and/or assigned benches.
  • Operates all department equipment safely and according to manufacturer guidelines.
  • Performs preventative maintenance and troubleshoots instruments failures.
  • Participates in activities that demonstrate professionalism, a commitment to competency and career growth.
  • Performs other duties as assigned to assure efficient operations of department, including covering other lab sections.
