Part-Time Learning Disabilities Teacher-Consultant
2026-2027 School Year
Red Bank Catholic High School is seeking a knowledgeable, collaborative, and student-centered Learning Disabilities Teacher-Consultant for a part-time position beginning in the 2026-2027 school year.
The LDTC will support students with documented learning needs by reviewing educational records, conducting or interpreting academic assessments, recommending appropriate accommodations and interventions, and consulting with teachers, counselors, administrators, students, and families.
This is an opportunity to help strengthen a developing student-support program within a rigorous, college-preparatory Catholic high school environment.
Qualifications
  • Valid New Jersey Educational Services Certificate with a Learning Disabilities Teacher-Consultant endorsement required
  • Master's degree in special education, learning disabilities, education, or a related field
  • Experience working with adolescent learners preferred
  • Strong knowledge of assessment, learning disabilities, instructional interventions, and accommodations
  • Excellent written, verbal, organizational, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively with students, families, educators, and outside professionals
  • Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and exercising sound professional judgment
  • Willingness to support the mission and values of Red Bank Catholic High School

Position Status
This is currently a part-time position. The schedule and number of hours will be determined based on school and student needs. The role may have the potential to expand in the future as RBC continues to develop its student-support services.
