Direct Care Aide - Part-time Brockton, MA Floater position

Location: Brockton, MA - Only two stops and you'll be able to see all your scheduled members!

Compensation:

  • Entry-level Direct Care Aides (DCA): $17/hour
  • Some experience: $17.25 - $18.75/hour
  • Certified Nursing Assistants (CNA): $19/hour

Position Overview: We are hiring 1 Direct Care Aide (DCA) to provide homecare services in Brockton. This position doesn't have much driving - only two Brockton stops and you will be able to see all your scheduled members. It's the perfect schedule and a great opportunity to start your career in the healthcare field!

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
  • Offer medication reminders
  • Assist with shopping, errands, and prescription pickup
  • Help with light housekeeping, laundry, and meal preparation
  • Report to the main office and supervisors as needed

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation (registered and insured)
  • Ability to lift 20-30 lbs. (laundry, groceries, etc.)
  • Physical ability to stand, walk, stoop, reach, and climb stairs as needed
  • No certification required - we will train the right candidate!

  • Schedules are set once created, with opportunities to expand based on availability
