The Strategic Account & Growth Executive is a hybrid role responsible for both maintaining and expanding relationships with a dedicated portfolio of key national accounts. This role balances long-term client retention (approx. 60% of time) by serving as the primary relationship owner, and ensuring customer satisfaction, with aggressive revenue growth (approx. 40% of time) through the identification and securement of new business opportunities within the existing portfolio and through direct prospecting. This position is critical to maximizing the lifetime value and profitability of strategic client partnerships.

Requirements

This role requires a dual mindset, with your time strategically split between two core functions:

1. National Account Management (60% Focus)
  • National Relationship Excellence: Serve as the lead point of contact and trusted advisor for a dedicated portfolio of key national accounts.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Develop trusted advisor relationships with key national accounts, customer stakeholders, and executive sponsors.
  • Solution Delivery: Collaborate with Operations Management to ensure Ambius solutions are delivered successfully and meet specific customer objectives.
  • Retention & Reviews: Support the customer RFP/Renewal process and conduct comprehensive business reviews at a minimum annual basis.
  • Financial Oversight: Responsible for A/R management and coordinating with collections to manage the DSO of all assigned national accounts.

2. Sales Growth (40% Focus)
  • Business Development: Generate new revenue through cold calling, networking, leads, and referrals within your assigned portfolio and territory.
  • Strategic Planning: Craft territory development strategies to consistently exceed sales targets for both new and expanded revenue.
  • Pipeline Management: Utilize Salesforce to accurately forecast and track pipeline activity and key account metrics.
  • Expert Knowledge: Maintain mastery of Ambius programs, pricing, and service offerings, including completing all required product certifications.
Who You Are?
  • Experienced: You have at least three (3) years of B2B sales or Strategic Account Management experience.
  • Communicator: You can influence C-level stakeholders and possess exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
  • Analytical: You are proficient in tracking and analyzing data, with hands-on experience using CRM software like Salesforce.
  • Self-Starter: You are independent, dependable, and highly self-motivated with the ability to juggle multiple account management and sales projects.
  • Problem Solver: You have a professional demeanor and the adaptability to resolve complex client escalations.
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or GED required; Diploma or Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • Valid driver’s license and a clean motor vehicle record search.
  • Ability to obtain any required industry licenses.

Salary Range: CAD 75,000-95,000/Annum
