Position Summary

The Bartender is responsible for delivering exceptional guest service while preparing and serving alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages in a fast-paced live entertainment environment. This position ensures responsible alcohol service, maintains a clean and organized bar, accurately processes transactions, and helps create a positive guest experience during concerts and special events at Truth Music Venue.

This role pays an hourly rate of $2.13 and is tip eligible.

This position will remain open until October 23, 2026.

Responsibilities
  • Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages in accordance with company recipes, policies, and applicable alcohol service laws.
  • Verify guest identification and refuse alcohol service when required by law or company policy.
  • Provide friendly, efficient, and professional customer service while maintaining a positive attitude in a high-volume environment.
  • Accurately process cash and credit card transactions using the point-of-sale (POS) system.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and fully stocked bar throughout each event.
  • Monitor inventory levels and communicate product shortages to management.
  • Follow all food safety, sanitation, and workplace safety standards.
  • Work closely with barbacks, servers, supervisors, and other team members to ensure efficient service.
  • Assist with opening, closing, cleaning, and restocking duties before and after events.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
  • Previous bartending experience in a high-volume restaurant, bar, concert venue, or entertainment venue is preferred.
  • Must meet the minimum legal age requirements to serve alcohol in the applicable state.
  • Must obtain and maintain a valid alcohol compliance certification (e.g., TABC, TIPS, ServSafe Alcohol, or other state-approved certification) before working any scheduled events.
  • Knowledge of standard cocktail recipes, beer, wine, and responsible alcohol service practices.
  • Strong customer service, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to accurately handle cash and operate a POS system.
  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods and lift heavy objects.
  • Must be available to work evenings, weekends, holidays, and late-night events.
  • Ability to remain professional and perform efficiently in a fast-paced, high-energy live entertainment environment.
