Job Summary

We are seeking passionate, knowledgeable, and reliable tutors to join our Illinois team. You will work one-on-one with students to support their academic success across a range of subjects, tailoring your approach to fit individual learning styles.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide academic support based on expertise and alignment with the Illinois curriculum standards.
  • Design and deliver customized tutoring sessions in a variety of subjects.
  • Offer remedial or enrichment instruction based on each student's needs.
  • Assign supplemental materials to enhance understanding and retention.
  • Maintain open communication with parents/guardians to report on student progress and goals.
Qualifications & Skills

We are looking for certified educators, subject matter experts (e.g., engineers, graduate students), and soon-to-be teachers who meet the following criteria:

  • Committed to providing exceptional, personalized instruction and customer service.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

  • Professional, punctual, and organized.
Requirements

All applicants must hold a Bachelor's degree and meet at least one of the following:

  • Hold a valid Illinois State teaching certificate (or equivalent from another state).
  • Currently enrolled in a teacher certification program.
  • Have 2+ years of experience teaching in a private, public, or charter school.
  • Have experience as a lecturer or course instructor at an accredited U.S. college or university.
  • Are a Master's or PhD student with experience as a teaching assistant at a U.S. university or college.
