Endocrinology Nurse Practitioner

Compensation: $200K-$300K per year

Job Type: Part time or Full time. Flexible hours, Mondayโ€“Friday, No call.

A well-established, physician-led group with locations throughout Long Island, is currently seeking to hire a Family Nurse Practitioner. This practice has built a stellar reputation for clinical excellence, patient satisfaction, and multidisciplinary collaboration. 100% outpatient.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Serve as a key clinical provider in the delivery of high-quality care.
  • Diagnose and treat a wide range of endocrine conditions, including diabetes, thyroid disorders (hyperthyroidism and hypothyroidism), hormone imbalances, and infertility.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
  • Refer patients to appropriate specialty services as needed.
  • Provide clear communication and education to patients regarding diagnoses, treatment options, and preventive strategies.
  • Maintain thorough and accurate documentation within the Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system.
  • Collaborate with referring physicians, specialists, and care teams to ensure seamless patient care.
  • Provide clinical oversight to nurses, technologists, and support staff within the practice.
  • Stay compliant with HIPAA, NYS DOH, CMS, and relevant payer guidelines.
  • Contribute to the development of a sustainable patient panel aligned with practice growth objectives.

Qualifications:

  • BSN and MSN from an accredited nursing school
  • Trained in Endocrinology
  • NYS RN & NP license, BLS, Board Certified
  • Strong diagnostic, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Team-oriented with a patient-centered approach to care.
  • Proven ability to maintain and grow a local clinical practice is required
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with an ability to grow and manage a thriving patient base.
  • Familiarity with EMRs and value-based care metrics is a plus.
  • 8+ years experience as a NP
