Get to Know Your Team:
  • Lovelace Medical Group is a multispecialty provider group which includes clinics, doctors and advanced practice providers in a broad range of specialties and primary care.

Responsibilities
  • Oversees nutritional management within the department and exercises daily responsibility for allocation of resources and coordination of activities.
  • Responsible for nutritional care and support of hospital patients, counseling and instructing patients and outpatients on modified diets.
  • Adheres to policies, procedures and regulations to ensure compliance and patient safety.
  • Knowledge of Chemistry and Biology
  • Knowledge of HMOs, PPOs, Medicare, Medicaid, and other insurance plans

Qualifications
Job Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in a relevant area or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Registration through the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics (formerly American Dietetic Association) preferred registration eligibility required
  • Licensed by the State of NM

Preferred Job Requirements
  • Master's Degree in relevant area
  • Previous job-related experience
