We are seeking motivated and reliable individuals to join our team as Security & Emergency Services Officer I (SES I), with a clear pathway to advancement into SES Officer II.
This role is ideal for candidates interested in building skills in security and emergency medical response. Selected candidates will participate in our in-house Emergency Medical Response (EMR) training program, after which they will be promoted to SES Officer II upon successful completion.
Career Advancement Opportunity
All hired SES I candidates will be required to attend and successfully complete our upcoming Emergency Medical Response (EMR) training program:
  • Training Dates: July 8 - July 24 (weekdays only)
  • Schedule: Full attendance required - no absences permitted
  • Compensation: Paid training at no cost to employees
  • Outcome: Upon successful completion, employees will be promoted to SES Officer II

Compensation: $20 hourly until completion of EMR then increased to $23 hourly
Schedules:
  • Full-time Sun/Mon/Tues 7pm-7am
  • Part-time Tues/Wed 7am - 7pm
  • Part-time Sat/Sun 7am-7pm

How you will make an impact
  • Perform regular patrols of the property, provide relief staffing for the gatehouse, and respond to emergency and routine calls for service
  • Enforce all traffic and parking regulations
  • Respond to calls for service from dispatch and security
  • Respond to medical emergencies and provide efficient care utilizing all basic interventions
  • Follow up on reports of missing items, theft, vandalism, and other potential criminal activity
  • Utilize local police, fire, and EMS; effectively during emergencies.
  • Complete thorough and detailed incident reports using our online report system

What you will need
  • Must be at least 18 years old
  • Current and valid driver's license
  • Prior experience in security or medical field preferred
  • Ability to demonstrate professional and responsive interactions with residents and their family members, staff, vendors, and each other
  • Ability to document daily activities in a clear and concise manner
