Current knowledge and/or industry experience in: PLC programming and troubleshooting (Allen-Bradley, Siemens, etc.) Industrial automation systems Motor control systems Variable frequency drives (VFDs) Industrial electrical networking (EtherNet/IP, Modbus, ProfiNet) Sensors, instrumentation, and control devices Industrial electrical safety (including LOTO and NFPA 70E) Panel building, wiring, and power distribution Electrical theory, diagnostics, and applied troubleshooting Residential wiring fundamentals (supportive but not primary) Experience working with African American/Black, Hispanic, Native American, and other minoritized students. Demonstrated ability to address equity gaps through culturally responsive teaching and curriculum design

Example of Duties GENERAL JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Part of the teaching assignment may be online, in the evening, and/or on Saturdays. Duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to: Teaching lower-division college courses across the full range of core ELTEC offerings, including electrical theory, automation systems, PLCs, motor controls, instrumentation, industrial electronics, wiring, and safety.

Advancing equitable student learning through high-quality instruction aligned with established course outlines. Informing students of course requirements, evaluation methods, and attendance expectations. Preparing and grading assignments, assessments, and examinations.

Maintaining accurate attendance, scholastic, and other records according to district policy. Developing, assessing, and improving student-learning outcomes at the course and program level. Engaging in data inquiry and self-assessment to support student success and equity.
