Job description

PART-TIME MOBILE FLEET MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN

Greenville, South Carolina | Flexible Part-Time Role | Approximately $400 per Week

Zoomin Groomin Greenville is looking for a dependable, mechanically inclined person to help maintain our fleet of five mobile grooming vans.

You do not need experience with mobile grooming equipment. We will train you on each system. We are looking for someone who enjoys troubleshooting, working with their hands, and finding practical solutions.

Responsibilities
  • Troubleshoot and repair basic electrical, plumbing, mechanical, battery, generator, A/C, water and equipment issues

  • Complete preventative maintenance and minor repairs

  • Answer occasional daytime troubleshooting calls

  • Perform most hands-on work during scheduled evening hours

  • Coordinate larger vehicle repairs with approved service providers

  • Keep basic repair and maintenance records

Ideal Candidate
  • Mechanically inclined with strong problem-solving skills

  • Experience as a handyman, maintenance technician, RV technician, facilities technician or similar is helpful

  • Comfortable using basic tools and learning new equipment

  • Dependable, responsive and able to work independently

  • Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record

Schedule and Pay
  • Approximately 8–10 active hours per week

  • Most hands-on work takes place between 6:00 p.m. and 8:00 p.m.

  • $150 weekly availability stipend plus $25 per active work hour

  • Minimum weekly guarantee of $350 when availability expectations are met
