Job description

Centerline Communications is seeking a Journeyman Electrician in the MD, DE, PA or NJ area to support our North Atlantic clients.

What You Will Do:

  • Perform QA inspections to ensure quality and code compliance
  • Install service equipment, wiring, and electrical devices
  • Bend and install conduit
  • Pull and terminate wire, cable, panels, and control components
  • Troubleshoot and repair electrical systems
  • Evaluate systems for maintenance, warranty, and design needs
  • Maintain detailed job documentation and corrective action reports
  • Adhere to company installation standards and quality guidelines
  • Follow all safety procedures and attend safety meetings
  • Communicate effectively with project managers and leadership
  • Ensure completion of all corrective items on schedule

What You Will Need:

  • 6+ years of experience as a Commercial or Industrial Electrician
  • Must have AC experience
  • Strong diagnostic and mechanical skills
  • Experience with generators and automatic transfer switches (preferred)
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and written/verbal instructions
  • Experience in electrical construction or commercial/industrial maintenance
  • EL-01 Electrical License or Master Electrician License (preferred)
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Valid driver’s license and ability to be insured under company policy
  • Lift up to 100 lbs
  • Work at heights up to 10 feet
  • Distinguish wire and cable colors
  • Stand, climb, balance, kneel, crouch, and crawl as needed
  • Strong vision (close, distance, depth perception, color discrimination)

Position Type:

  • This is a full-time position.
  • Occasional evening and weekend work may be required as job duties demand.

Travel:

  • Travel required within the North Atlantic region and other states

  • Up to 75%+ travel
