The Opportunity:
Everyone is trying to "harness the cloud," but not everyone knows how. As a cloud computing application architect, you know how to create a cloud-based technical architecture that meets client needs and takes advantage of cloud capabilities. What if you could use your cloud architecture skills to improve the intelligence mission? We need you to help us develop cloud-based solutions for some of our client's toughest problems.
On our team, you'll design solutions that drive enterprise applications and lead developers, designers, and testers along for the journey. This is an opportunity to use the latest cloud technologies as you look for ways to improve your client's environment using current cloud capabilities. Your technical expertise will be vital as you work with our client to inform strategy and design and ensure standards are met throughout the cloud engineering process.
You'll recommend tools and solutions based on your research of the current environment and knowledge of various on-premise, cloud-based, and hybrid resources. You'll lead your team as they help the client overcome their most difficult challenges in the cloud. Additionally, you'll broaden your skill set in areas like data engineering, designing for AI, and automated test while developing critical systems that our workforce depends on.

You Have:
  • 10+ years of experience in software development
  • 5+ years of experience in Linux software development
  • 5+ years of experience with architecting/designing software for cloud-based systems
  • 3+ years of experience with Amazon Web Services
  • 2+ years of experience with leading or developing DevOps solutions
  • Experience as a team's software architect, lead software developer, lead DevOps engineer, or in a technical leadership role
  • TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph
  • Bachelor's degree

Nice If You Have:
  • Experience leading software development teams to success through regular Agile sprint deliveries
  • Experience with Node.js
  • Experience with Angular, including Angular Signals
  • Experience with delivering AI-assistive features to users
  • Experience making UI and UX recommendations or decisions
  • Experience with Elasticsearch, MongoDB, or Redis

Clearance:
Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; TS/SCI clearance with polygraph is required.

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $86,800.00 to $198,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees. This posting will close within 90 days from the Posting Date.
