As a key member of the endocrine care team, you'll blend hands-on nursing care with education, coordination, and technical support-playing a vital role in helping patients manage complex chronic conditions while expanding your own clinical skillset in a specialty space.
The Role:
This is a highly
versatile, cross-functional RN position where no two days look exactly the same. You'll collaborate closely with providers and fellow nurses while moving between clinical care, triage, and patient education responsibilities. The pace is steady, the work is varied, and the impact is directly felt through improved patient outcomes and continuity of care.
In an average day, you will:
- Provide clinical support for infusions, injections, and endocrine-based testing workflows
- Manage Epic in-basket messaging , ensuring timely responses and care coordination
- Perform telephone triage , assessing patient needs and determining next steps
- Review and triage incoming referrals , supporting efficient patient access to care
- Conduct nurse visits focused on education and support , including:
- Continuous glucose monitor setup and troubleshooting
- Device pairing and patient training
- Glucometer education and diabetes tool navigation
- Support care coordination activities , working across the team to ensure seamless patient experiences
This role is designed for an RN who enjoys

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
Education: Graduate of an accredited nursing program required. Bachelor of Science in Nursing required within 5 years of hire.
Experience: 1 year of relevant experience.
Licensure: Licensed to Practice as a Registered Nurse in the Commonwealth of Virginia. American Heart Association (AHA) Healthcare Provider BLS certification required.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
Job requires standing for prolonged periods, frequently traveling, bending/stooping. Proficient communicative, auditory and visual skills; Attention to detail and ability to write legibly; Ability to lift/push/pull 20 - 50lbs. May be exposed to chemicals, blood/body fluids and infectious disease
The pay range for this role is $37.51 - $49.82 hourly. Individual compensation will be determined by the selected candidate's qualifications, previous work experience, and/or education.
