About the Employer
The Riverside County Office of Education (RCOE) is a service agency supporting the county's 23 school districts that serve nearly 430,000 students. RCOE provides administrative support to districts, leads programs for preschool, special education, pregnant minor, corrections, migrant, and vocational students, and offers professional training, support and resources for teachers, administrators, and staff throughout Riverside County.
Job Summary
POSITION DESCRIPTION:
The job of Office/School Secretary, Migrant Head Start Programs (MHSP) is done for the purpose(s) of providing secretarial duties to support assigned administrative personnel; communicating information to staff, students, the public, and other districts; ensuring compliance with financial, legal and administrative requirements; providing information and/or direction as may be requested and utilizing oral and written bilingual skills in English and Spanish.
*This position is categorically funded.
Requirements / Qualifications
  • Letter of Introduction (Letter must be specific to the position for which you are applying)
  • Letter(s) of Recommendation (Two (2) Letters of Recommendation are required and must be signed by the author. The signature block must include the author's name and title/relationship to the applicant. Letters must be dated within the last 2 years prior to the recruitment closing date. Letters without author's signature, name and title/relationship to the applicant and letters without a date or dated more than 2 years prior to the recruitment closing date will not be accepted. One letter from a supervisor is preferred)
  • Resume (Employment information on Resume must be current and consistent with the employment information on the EdJoin application/Record of Work Experience)
  • Typing Certificate (Minimum Required Typing Speed is 45 net words per minute. Certificate must be verifiable and must show your name and be dated within the last 12 months prior to the recruitment closing date)
