Position Mission
FOCUS is a Catholic outreach whose mission is to share the hope and joy of the Gospel with college students and beyond. As our apostolate continues to grow, strong internal communication is essential to help our staff stay aligned, informed, and mission-focused.
What You'll Do
In this role, you'll help strengthen the clarity and consistency of internal communication across multiple audiences and channels.
  • Collaborate with the Manager to improve the weekly internal newsletter, including drafting/coordinating articles, editing for clarity and audience, and managing publication requests
  • Build content calendars and engagement plans for different staff audiences
  • Support the development of key messaging, including talking points, presentations, and organizational resources
  • Contribute to employee engagement initiatives through internal communications projects, research, and evaluation of tools and platforms
  • Track and report on key metrics (e.g., engagement, message clarity, employee sentiment)
  • Assist with audits of communication platforms to ensure content remains current and effective
  • Support calendar management and cross-team coordination, including updates to national and DSC calendars

What We're Looking For

Compensation & Benefits
For this role, we anticipate paying $48,000 - $65,000/year. This range is an estimate. The actual amount may be higher or lower than the provided range and will be adjusted based on various factors including qualifications, experience, abilities, geographic location, and duties.
