Job Description

The Marketing Associate is a part-time position that works closely with the onsite Operations management team and Corporate Marketing specialists, helping to execute the vision of both Aramark’s and assigned client. This individual is a champion, guardian, advocate and ambassador; collaboratively with the key stakeholders, the Marketing Associate will coordinate, organize and execute all communication initiatives, including both proactive and reactive communication to bring the brands to life. The Marketing Associate will provide support on all local engagement activities, both partner and consumer facing, including but not limited to written and verbal communication, events, learning programs and community events. 

This role will be part-time at approx. 15 hours per week, increasing to 20-25 hours per week beginning mid-August and throughout the school year, working a Monday to Friday weekday schedule.

Job Responsibilities
  • Supports the operations team in executing innovation launches that drive profit growth
  • Coordinates engagement activities showcasing new products and programs to promote brand awareness and community interaction
  • Works with the Regional Marketing Manager and District Marketing Manager to identify new marketing opportunities
  • Executes on-site market research initiatives, including intercept and digital surveys
  • Gathers market research, campaign results and consumer trends
  • Supports the development, implementation, and execution of the client’s brand strategy
  • Designs location specific traditional, digital, and social marketing campaigns, and measures and tracks analytics
  • Updates and manages content of marketing materials and coordinates print production, when required
  • Creates eye-catching visuals through photography, video editing, and graphic design
  • Builds and maintains core relationships with clients, various campus clubs and departments, and local communities
  • Communicates with cashiers and food employees about current marketing initiatives and respective promotions
  • Supports other Aramark locations, as required

Qualifications
  • Requires content creation experience (blogs, press releases, internal communication, social media posts)
  • Requires a high school diploma or equivalent
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • An eye for design and branding
  • Strong research, project management and analytical skills
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office and Adobe applications
  • Excellent project management skills with a proactive approach to all projects
  • High level of organizational skills, integrity and accuracy.
  • Good interpersonal skills working with internal and external customers.
