Job description

About SuperOrdinary (PGC Division):
At SuperOrdinary, we're the driving force behind the global success of today's most exciting consumer brands. More than an agency, we're the go-to growth partner for brands looking to win in social commerce, partnering with industry leaders like Disney, H&M, Laneige, Touchland, Glow Recipe, and Peter Thomas Roth to connect with creators and consumers around the world. Our team of e-commerce, creator, and social commerce experts helps brands build influence, accelerate sales, and create meaningful connections across the world's fastest-growing marketplaces.
Our Professionally Generated Content (PGC) division is leading the next wave of live shopping, producing engaging livestreams and short-form content that seamlessly blend entertainment, education, and commerce. As one of the leaders in TikTok Shop and live commerce, we're constantly testing, learning, and evolving to stay ahead of a rapidly changing landscape.
We're in an exciting period of growth, making this an incredible time to join the team. You'll have the opportunity to help build new live shopping channels from the ground up, work alongside some of the industry's top operators, and grow your skills in one of the fastest-growing areas of e-commerce.
Success at SuperOrdinary comes from people who are naturally curious, solutions-oriented, and eager to learn. The playbook is constantly changing, so we look for team members who embrace change, think creatively, and bring a strong hustle mentality. We hold ourselves-and our partners-to a high standard, earning our reputation as the trusted experts brands rely on to navigate the ever-evolving world of social commerce.
The Opportunity:
We are hiring a Part-Time Live Creative Host with proven livestream experience, a strong beauty background, and a clear understanding of sales-driven content. This role is for someone who can own the camera, sustain energy for extended live sessions, and consistently drive conversions. You will play a key role in building and scaling new channels, combining creative storytelling with structured selling techniques. This is a part-time position with strong growth potential as channels scale and performance increases.
Key Responsibilities:
Live Hosting & Sales Execution:
  • Host livestream shopping sessions with high energy and consistency for up to 4 hours per shift
  • Execute structured selling frameworks (e.g., selling loops) to drive conversions
  • Demonstrate beauty products clearly and credibly while maintaining audience engagement
  • Create urgency, handle objections, and confidently guide viewers to purchase
  • Maintain strong real-time interaction with viewers to boost retention and engagement

Self-Moderation & Live Operations:
  • Manage chat flow while hosting, including answering questions and addressing concerns in real time
  • Maintain control of the live environment without reliance on a full support team
  • Adapt quickly to live feedback, pacing, and audience behavior

Creative Development & Content Support:
  • Structure livestream flows, segments, and repeatable show formats
  • Translate product knowledge into engaging, conversion-focused storytelling
  • Create short-form content to support livestream promotion and channel growth

Performance Optimization:
  • Track and improve key metrics including conversion rate, engagement, and watch time
  • Iterate on delivery, hooks, and product positioning based on performance data
  • Continuously refine on-camera presence and selling effectiveness

What You'll Bring:
Required Experience (Non-Negotiable):
  • Proven livestream hosting experience (required)
  • 1+ years of on-camera experience (live streaming, hosting, or content creation)

On-Camera & Performance Skills:
  • Strong presence, confidence, and ability to sustain energy for multi-hour live sessions (minimum 4-hour stamina)
  • Excellent communication and improvisation skills in a live environment

Beauty Expertise:
  • Background in beauty (skincare, cosmetics, haircare, etc.)
  • Ability to demonstrate and explain products with clarity and credibility

Sales & Conversion Mindset (Preferred but Highly Valued):
  • Experience in sales, retail, or conversion-focused content
  • Understanding of urgency, value framing, and objection handling
  • Comfort actively driving purchase decisions during live sessions

Platform & Operational Awareness:
  • Familiarity with TikTok Live and social commerce dynamics
  • Willingness to learn and execute self-moderation during live sessions
  • Ability to adapt quickly and operate independently on camera

Success Metrics:
  • Conversion rate
  • Revenue per live hour
  • Average watch time
  • Engagement rate (comments, likes, shares)
  • Viewer retention

What We Offer:
  • Part-time schedule with flexibility
  • $35/hour + performance-based incentives
  • Opportunity to join during a high-growth scaling phase
  • Direct involvement in building and growing new livestream channels
  • Clear pathway for advancement as performance and channels expand

Bottom Line:
This is not a passive hosting role. We are looking for hosts who can perform, engage, and sell consistently at scale. If you have livestream experience, beauty knowledge, and the drive to grow with a rapidly expanding team, this is a strong opportunity to get in early and help build something significant.
