EXPERIENCED VETERINARY CARDIAC SONOGRAPHER / ECHO TECHNOLOGIST (MOBILE) - Massachusetts (Cape Cod to Metrowest)

Are you a registered cardiac sonographer or echo technologist with hands-on animal ultrasound experience looking for a flexible, meaningful opportunity? Pet Animal Ultrasound (PAUS), now part of NAVIX Diagnostix, is seeking an experienced professional to join our mobile veterinary cardiology imaging team.

This role is part-time or per diem, ideal for professionals seeking schedule flexibility while continuing to apply and deepen their expertise in veterinary cardiac ultrasound.

Responsibilities
  • Perform cardiac (echocardiography) ultrasound examinations on small animals at veterinary hospitals and clinics.
  • Travel to client locations across Cape Cod, Greater Boston, South Shore, and Metrowest areas.
  • Work closely with veterinarians and clinical teams to support accurate diagnostics and compassionate patient care.
  • Apply established echocardiography skills confidently in a veterinary setting.
  • Select appropriate transducers and imaging protocols for animal-specific cardiac pathologies.
  • Operate, maintain, and transport ultrasound equipment in a mobile environment.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 1โ€“2 years of diagnostic ultrasound experience.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work independently.
