Job description

PROMAN Staffing is partnered with a well-known distribution warehouse in Southaven, MS.
We are now hiring Specialist- eCommerce Merchandiser who are team players, versatile, and dependable!

SHIFT AND PAY RATE

•    Pay Rate--$35/hour
•    Part time 1ST shift – will work 20 hours a week with random hours between 8:00AM-5:00PM
•    Schedule is Monday through Friday

JOB DUTIES
•    Position and communicate products and goods sold by client across all eCommerce channels and platforms to ensure high-quality online shopping experience for veterinary customers
•     Stock virtual eCommerce shelves by collaborating with the Manager of Web to understand the current product base (e.g., Specialty Brands, North America Commercial)
•    Select, promote, update, and manage merchandise across the eCommerce properties
•    Ensure product images are available and meet resolution, size and format requirements
•    Edit, proofread, and customize product descriptions and features/benefits that effectively capture their selling
•    Make sure eCommerce merchandising executions are consistent with brand and marketing goals
•    Gather insights utilizing data analysis to understand effectiveness and performance of product and goods’ positioning, and use insights to inform future positioning
•    Collaborate with content, creative, and marketing teams to develop personalized campaigns displayed on homepage banner for target audiences
•    Measure personalized campaign performance with banner views’ metrics and total revenue generated
•    Manage improved search platform to provide more accurate and strategic web search results and tracking with search engine optimization
•    Manage paid advertisements from manufacturers on homepage, with call-to-action links
•    Measure and report out paid ad performance with views, clicks, and transactions metrics
•    Manage, schedule, and execute social media posts on clients Facebook, LinkedIn, Instagram, and Twitter accounts
•    Monitor customer interactions and comments on social media pages
•    Measure and report out overall engagement and performance of social media campaigns
•    Partner with technology department on site enhancements and ensure timely execution
•    Collaborate with supplier management team to ensure new products are marketed effectively on website and print media
•    Monitor and resolve day-to-day product page and account issues/updates
•    Update product-specific messaging in regards to allocation and supply chain status on online platforms
•    Lead and assist in other projects, meetings, and perform other duties as assigned in the merchandising area

QUALIFICATIONS AND ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business Administration, or a related field.
Experience:
•    3+ years of experience in eCommerce within a B2B landscape
•    Extensive experience in working with business customers and suppliers
•    Experience in copywriting
•    Demonstrated strong business judgement and decision-making skills; ability to identify, prioritize, and articulate highest impact initiatives
•    Experience in the Animal Health industry (preferred)

COMPETENCIES (SKILLS AND ABILITIES)

·  Knowledge of content management systems
·  Intermediate to advanced experience with PC and/or Macintosh software programs including Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator), and Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Project and Excel
·  Intermediate to Advance operational knowledge of SAP Backoffice & SAP SmartEdit
·  Intermediate to Advance operational knowledge of Stibo (or like Product Management System)
·  Ability to manage stakeholder groups across different functions and coordinate merchandising review routines
·  Self-starter, dependable, and capable of performing under pressure
·  Understands how to effectively position goods online
· Strong written and verbal communications skills
· Detail oriented
· Strong organizational skills and ability to manage several projects simultaneously
