Job description
The successful candidate will direct our Bachelor of Social Work program, located in Ulndy’s Health Pavilion, an innovative interprofessional collaborative space that houses our high-quality programs in physical therapy, occupational therapy, nursing, kinesiology, athletic training and psychology. The BSW is accredited by CSWE.
Responsibilities include coordination and monitoring of the following: undergraduate resource acquisition and utilization; undergraduate program development; undergraduate student compliance with program requirements; and undergraduate student recruitment, selection, and retention; leadership in the maintenance of the program's accreditation, and providing service to the campus and community.
Qualifications: A Master of Social Work degree from a CSWE accredited program is required, a PhD or DSW in Social Work (or closely related field) is preferred. The successful candidate will also demonstrate previous experience in post-secondary teaching and administration.
Applicants are asked to provide a curriculum vita, contact information for three professional references, an unofficial transcript (highest degree earned), and a cover letter that speaks to qualifications in relation to the position responsibilities.
