AWS Cloud Project Manager, Senior
The Opportunity:
Everyone is trying to "harness the cloud," but not everyone knows how. As a Cloud Project Manager, you know how to create a cloud-based delivery strategy that meets client needs and takes advantage of cloud capabilities. What if you could use your technical management skills to improve next-generation naval maintenance and digital twins? We need you to help us develop cloud-based solutions for some of the Department of Defense's toughest problems.
On our team, you'll lead the deployment and accreditation of advanced spatial computing, 3D reality capture, and drone inspection solutions into the secure cloud. This is an opportunity to use the latest cloud technologies as you look for ways to improve your client's environment using current cloud capabilities. Your technical leadership will be vital as you work with Navy technical authorities, vendor teams, and engineers to inform strategy, drive Agile execution, and ensure strict security standards are met throughout the cloud migration process.
You'll recommend tools and solutions based on your research of the current environment and knowledge of various on-premise, cloud-based, edge-computing, and hybrid resources. You'll lead your team as they help the client overcome their most difficult challenges in the cloud. Additionally, you'll broaden your skill set in areas like edge-to-cloud synchronization, data sovereignty, and DoD RMF accreditation while developing critical systems for Naval Sea Systems Command (NAVSEA).
Ready to transform naval nuclear propulsion maintenance and tactical edge operations with cloud technology?
Join us. The world can't wait.
You Have:
  • 5+ years of experience managing technical or IT programs within cleared government environments
  • Experience delivering projects within secure cloud environments, including AWS GovCloud or DoD Impact Level 5 (IL-5) ecosystems
  • Knowledge of DoD cybersecurity requirements, including the Risk Management Framework (RMF) and system accreditation standards
  • Ability to manage project scope, schedule, risk, and cost across cross-functional engineering and technical teams
  • Secret clearance
  • Bachelor's degree
  • DoD 8570 IAT Level II Certification

Nice If You Have:
  • Experience deploying edge-to-cloud solutions or spatial computing tools, including Taqtile Manifest, Cintoo, or Flyability Inspector
  • Experience operating within Navy-specific enterprise cloud enclaves, including AWS BlueWater or iOS FlankSpeed
  • Knowledge of the handling, boundary protections, and data sovereignty requirements for Unclassified Naval Nuclear Propulsion Information (U-NNPI) and OPNAVINST N9210.3 regulations
  • Ability to navigate NAVSEA and Naval Reactors (NR) specific Assessment and Authorization (A&A) processes
  • Master's degree in a technical, engineering, or management field
  • Project Management Professional (PMP), AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner, or ScrumMaster (CSM) Certification
