What You'll Do:
  • Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and/or vendors at a technology-focused location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
  • Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the facility, offices, common areas, parking areas, and perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify potential security-related concerns.
  • Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as directed by site procedures, and report access-related issues to the appropriate contacts.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established escalation and reporting protocols.
  • Document daily activities, patrol findings, incidents, and security-related concerns in required reports and communicate relevant information to site leadership and/or Allied Universal supervision.

Minimum Requirements:
  • A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • A state, county, or city-issued security-related license is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
