Job description

Job Summary

Ensure the safety, security, and well being of members, guests, employees as well as the Club's assets. Provide a memorable and impeccable first and last impression for members and guests.

Represent the Security Department in a team setting and provide support to all departments for safety, security, and member service matters. Tactfully and successfully enforce Club policy.

Responsibilities and Duties

  1. Serve as a general security presence and visible deterrent to crime and clubhouse rule infractions.
  2. Prevent intruders from entering Club property and clubhouse (including vagrants, panhandlers, etc.)
  3. Monitor courtyard and surface parking area, preventing unauthorized vehicles and people from using these areas.
  4. Remain at post unless a replacement is present or during emergency situations.
  5. Maintain accurate log of all Randolph area security related activities.
  6. Monitor and report and respond to suspicious activity.
  7. Enforce all rules and regulations of Club that govern employees, members, and guests.
  8. Maintain a clean first impression when members, guests enter the Club (clean windows, empty interior/exterior ashtrays, vacuum carpets and runners)
  9. Provide a helpful, courteous and pleasant assistance to members and guests upon arrival and departure.
  10. During busy times of business, assist valets as members, guests arrive at the Club.
  11. .
  12. Safely maneuver luggage carts throughout the Club without damaging the Club's interior.
  13. Any other duties as directed.

Requirements

  • Ability to provide quality member service.
  • Maintain a neat and professional demeanor.
  • Must be detailed oriented.
  • Must have good vision and be able to use extremities to: Lift, Bend, Walk, Run, Stand indoors or outdoors.
  • Must be able to lift heavy items (luggage, boxes, etc.) up to 50lbs
  • Must be capable of communicating via two-way radio.
  • Must be flexible to work any shift.
  • Ability to perform essential functions of the position with or without reasonable accommodation.
