We're growing our team and looking for compassionate, reliable animal lovers who want meaningful, active work supporting pets and the people who love them.

The Opportunity

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working independently, staying active throughout the day, and building relationships with pets and clients in their local community. You'll spend your days outdoors walking dogs, caring for pets in their homes, and helping pet parents feel confident their animals are receiving safe, loving, professional care.

The role starts part-time with the opportunity to grow into a larger route and increased hours as you build consistency and client trust.

What You'll Do
  • Walk dogs throughout Coconut Grove, South Miami, Coral Gables, Brickell and nearby neighborhoods
  • Provide in-home care for cats, birds, rabbits, and other household pets
  • Follow detailed care instructions for feeding, medications, exercise, and routines
  • Send fun, informative visit updates and photos to pet parents after each visit
  • Support vacation care clients with light home care tasks such as mail collection and plant watering
  • Manage daily routes efficiently while maintaining excellent reliability and communication
What Success Looks Like

Successful team members in the first 3-6 months will:

  • Develop lasting relationships with pets through dependable, attentive care
  • Maintain a consistent schedule by arriving promptly and completing visits thoroughly
  • Confidently manage dogs with different energy levels, personalities, and handling needs
  • Build and maintain a reliable daytime route while delivering a high level of service
  • Work independently with strong organization, communication, and professional judgment
What We're Looking For

We're looking for someone who:

  • Truly enjoys working with animals and treats our furry friends with patience and care
  • Is dependable, detail-oriented, and comfortable working independently
  • Communicates professionally and provides excellent customer service
  • Enjoys being outdoors and can work in Miami weather conditions year-round - rain or shine!
  • Has a reliable vehicle, smartphone with data access, and valid driver's license
  • Can pass a background check and is authorized to work in the U.S.
  • Is available primarily Monday-Friday between 9:00 AM and 5:00 PM
  • Has some weekend and holiday availability for pet sitting visits
  • Previous pet care, veterinary, rescue, kennel, childcare, hospitality, or customer service experience is preferred but not required
Compensation and Benefits
  • $15-$18 per hour plus tips
  • Mobile data reimbursement
  • Holiday bonus opportunities
  • Workers' compensation, bonding, and liability insurance coverage provided
  • Paid hands-on training and shadowing
  • Free Pet CPR & First Aid certification
  • Uniforms, treats, waste bags, and supplies provided
  • Team appreciation events and community activities
  • Growth opportunities into leadership or coordinator roles
  • Flexible part-time scheduling with route growth potential
Work Location / Schedule
  • Hiring in Coconut Grove and surrounding areas including South Miami, Coral Gables, The Roads, and Brickell
  • Most visits occur Monday-Friday between 9:00 AM and 5:00 PM
  • Weekend and holiday pet sitting opportunities available if you are interested in additional visits.
  • Starting schedule typically ranges from 10-15 hours per week with potential growth to 25-30 hours weekly

If you're excited about a role that combines responsibility, flexibility, and hands-on work with pets, we'd love to hear from you.
