Job Description

Allied Universal is Seeking Security Professional - Part Time in Vancouver, BC.

Title: Security Professional - Part Time

Location:Vancouver, BC

Hourly payrate: $18.50 per hour

Schedule: Friday and Saturday Including - 2300 - 0700

Overview

Allied Universal is seeking experienced Security Guard - Part Time to oversee security operations in Vancouver, BC. As a security guard, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the safety and security of our premises, assets, and personnel. The ideal candidate will be responsible for enforcing security protocols, monitoring surveillance systems, and responding to emergencies with professionalism and efficiency,

Responsibilities: 

  • Ensuring effective patrolling and site safety.
  • CCTV and Live monitoring expereince preferred
  • Communicate with stakeholders, including site management and security personnel, in a professional manner. 
  • Address and manage security incidents and emergency situations calmly and efficiently. 
  • Perform regular patrols and site checks to maintain security standards. 
  • Strong observation and surveillance skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.

Requirements: 

  • Ability to operate technology and wireless communication systems at client-specific sites. 
  • Must have a valid BC Security License.
  • Possession of First Aid and CPR is an asset.
  • Must be at least 18 years old. 
  • High school diploma or equivalent/GED or equivalent work experience 
  • Physically capable of standing or walking for long periods, climbing stairs, and occasionally lifting or carrying up to 20 kilograms.
