Position Overview
The Clinical Director will provide oversight to Board Certified Behavior Analysts, Behavior Specialists and Registered Behavior Technicians. The Clinical Director works with the clinicians to complete Functional Behavioral Assessments to develop Behavior Support Plans, assists and oversees the creation of data measurement systems for implementation and collection, oversees/conducts on-going clinical training, attends and conducts interdisciplinary and program meetings. Responsible for modeling clinical professionalism and ethics, fostering quality individualized care, following clinical protocols. Promotes inter-departmental collaboration with internal and external vendors.

Spectrum Support Services partners with organizations that provide high-quality care and support to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
We are currently partnering with a well-established organization that operates residential facilities and adult day habilitation programs throughout North and South Jersey. They are seeking an experienced and qualified Clinical Director to join their leadership team. In this role, you will provide clinical oversight, supervision, and guidance to a team of behavioral therapists while ensuring the delivery of high-quality, person-centered behavioral services that enhance the lives of the individuals they support.

Essential Responsibilities
- Assist in the development, review, approval, implementation, and ongoing monitoring of Functional Behavior Assessments (FBAs) and Behavior Support Plans (BSPs), including conducting periodic fidelity/integrity checks and updating plans as needed.
- Provide clinical supervision, mentorship, and required supervision hours for Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs), Behavior Specialists, and other clinical staff.
- Deliver and oversee clinical training, assign professional development opportunities, and ensure staff are properly trained in the implementation of Behavior Support Plans and approved Crisis Management Techniques.
- Oversee clinical operations, including Clinical Rounds, Behavior Management Committee (BMC) meetings, clinical on-call rotation, restraint tracking, billable documentation, and Key Performance Indicator (KPI) monitoring.
- Participate in interdisciplinary meetings and assessments, including IDT, ISP, NJCAT reassessments, Meet and Greets, Root Cause Analysis meetings, and annual evaluations, completing all required follow-up.
- Provide consultation and support for crisis intervention, critical incidents, and complex behavioral cases.
- Promote clinical professionalism, ethical practice, interdisciplinary collaboration, and high-quality, person-centered care while supporting skill development in the least restrictive environment.
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation and ensure compliance with organizational policies, regulatory requirements, and billing standards.
- Participate in conferences, team meetings, program visits, and other professional growth opportunities to support continuous clinical improvement.
- Accept additional responsibilities as assigned. Caseloads and program assignments may be modified to best meet the needs of the individuals served.
Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Current BCBA certification in good standing with the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB).
- Master’s degree in applied Behavior Analysis, or a related field (e.g., education or psychology) with a concentration in Behavior Analysis.
Employment Requirements
- Minimum of 3 years of experience working in the intellectual and developmental disabilities (I/DD) field.
- Strong verbal and written communication, organizational, and time management skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, with advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
- Strong computer and technology skills, including the ability to learn new software systems.
- Adaptable to changing priorities and able to work a flexible schedule.
