Job description
Key Responsibilities:
Evaluate patients in OB triage to determine their disposition, in collaboration with physicians/resident physicians
Conduct physical exams; order and interpret labs, imaging, and diagnostics
Prescribe medications and contraceptive methods per Michigan CNM regulations
Manage labor, delivery, and postpartum recovery
Provide gestational diabetes education and care
Document patient care thoroughly and accurately in the patient's medical record
Perform/interpret limited ultrasound exams as appropriate
Provide prenatal, intrapartum and postpartum care
Collaborate with Maternal Fetal Medicine and other specialty teams
Participate in teaching, evaluating, and mentoring medical students, residents, and other learners
Contribute to quality improvement initiatives and ensure compliance with safety standards

Qualifications:
Master's degree in Nursing (required)
