Dental Assistant (DA)

North Dental Professionals is seeking a skilled and compassionate Part time Dental Assistant (DA) to join our team! As a Dental Assistant, you will work closely with our dentists and other team members to provide exceptional dental care to our patients as well as perform light administrative duties. We have a small team so each of us are cross-trained to help in every department. If you have a positive attitude, love dentistry and enjoy working with fun professionals, we would consider you to join our team!
North Dental Professionals:
  • 5953 N Milwaukee Ave, Chicago, IL 60646
  • 4905 Old Orchard Ctr, Ste 535, Skokie, IL 60077
  • We travel between our 2 locations every other week. So the position would be for both offices.
Schedule:
  • Monday 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM
  • Wednesday 7:30 AM- 1PM
  • Every other Friday 7:30 AM - 1:00 PM
Compensation:
  • $25-29 per hour (Commensurate with Experience)
Requirements:
  • X-Ray certification in the state of Illinois preferred but not required
  • Coronal Polish/Sealant certification required
  • High school graduate or equivalent
  • Chairside dental assisting with a wide range of general dentistry procedures
  • Sterilization protocols to OSHA regulations
  • CPR certification
  • Computer efficiency- charting and scheduling
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to build lasting relationships with teammates and patients
  • Integrity-focused work ethic
  • Team-player attitude
  • Ability to multi-task
  • Open-minded to new systems/techniques, direction and feedback
