We are actively looking for a dedicated and skilled Dental Hygienist to join our dynamic team on a part-time basis. This role is essential in supporting the oral health of both pediatric and adult patients by providing top-tier dental hygiene services. The ideal candidate will be knowledgeable in dental terminology, infection control, and patient assessment, delivering care comfortably and professionally.

Job Description
Perform thorough dental cleanings, scaling, and polishing for patients following established protocols.
Conduct patient assessments, including reviewing health history and identifying oral health issues.
Educate patients about effective oral hygiene practices and preventive dental care.
Assist dentists during examinations and procedures as needed.
Maintain accurate and detailed patient records in compliance with privacy regulations.
Adhere strictly to infection control and safety protocols within the dental office.
Manage appointment scheduling and patient flow efficiently during assigned shifts.
Foster a welcoming and compassionate environment to ensure patient comfort and satisfaction.
Salary Range
Part-time $40 - $55 per hour

Shift & Schedule
Part-time: Monday through Thursday
Two shifts per day: 7:00 AM – 1:00 PM and 2:00 PM – 5:00 PM
Requirements
- Infection Control License
- Licensed dental hygienist
Valid Dental Hygienist license to practice in the state of New York.
Proven experience working with both pediatric and adult dental patients.
Comprehensive knowledge of dental terminology, infection control, and patient assessment techniques.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills to educate and comfort patients.
Ability to work effectively as part of a collaborative dental team.
Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills.
Preferences
Experience in both pediatric and adult dentistry settings.
Previous teamwork experience within a dental office environment.
Familiarity with electronic dental record systems.
