Job description

One World Parts - a division of Capital Automotive -  is seeking a reliable and customer-focused Parts Delivery Driver to join our team. The primary responsibility of this role is to deliver automotive parts to our customers promptly and safely while providing exceptional service.  In this role you will safely operate company vehicles to deliver automotive parts to customers in a timely manner, following designated routes and schedules.

Full-Time Positions available - Work four 10-hour days each week, giving you three days off every week!

Part-Time Positions work 3 days per week.  Hours vary and will be discussed with hiring manager.

What you'll be doing:

  • Load and unload parts and supplies from delivery vehicles, ensuring accuracy and proper handling of items
  • Verify the accuracy of orders and invoices before delivery, addressing any discrepancies with the appropriate personnel
  • Collect payments for delivered parts as needed, maintaining accurate records of transactions
  • Communicate effectively with the parts department and other team members to ensure smooth coordination of deliveries and efficient workflow
  • Ability to maintain and build lasting relationships with multiple shops. 
  • Maintain a clean driving record and report any accidents, violations, or incidents to the appropriate supervisor
  • Other duties assigned    

What we're looking for:   

  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
  • Experience as a delivery driver or in a similar role, preferably in the automotive industry
  • Must be comfortable with a wide variety of vehicles from vans to 15' box trucks.  
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in verifying orders and invoices
  • Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical tasks associated with loading and unloading delivery vehicles
  • Flexibility to work occasional evenings, weekends, or overtime hours as needed
  • Knowledge of automotive parts and components is a plus
  • Must pass pre-employment background screenings
