Job description

Part-Time Delivery Representative


Expanding Liquid Nitrogen company is seeking an enthusiastic, self-motivated individual to manage its growing territories. Delivery coverage is needed for the BC region. A company vehicle will be provided. This part-time position would be on an on-call basis, for relief to coverage in the Vancouver, Fraser Valley, BC Interior and Vancouver Island areas. The job would be ideal for a retiree looking for a bit of extra work, or someone with flexible other employment. During the days of work, this position will require daily travel with overnights away. 


Having been in the industry for over 20 years, our company is a leader in sales, service, and solutions. Our friendly staff and personalized service is what sets us apart, so the right personality is crucial for this job. The selected Delivery Representative will be responsible for delivering outstanding customer service to all clients, both existing and potential. We are looking for someone dependable with an outgoing attitude that can deal with medical clinic staff and farmers.


Skill and Experience Requirements:

  • Previous sales experience would be an asset
  • Must have navigation knowledge of the BC Interior
  • Understanding budgeting and territory management
  • Must be a highly motivated individual with excellent interpersonal skills who works well with considerable independence.
  • Ability to communicate both in writing and orally with individuals at all levels within the organization as well as with individuals outside of the organization
  • Proactive, punctual and reliable
  • Ability to provide great customer service experience to all clients of the organization.
  • Must be able to lift up to 60lbs.
  • Must have valid clean driver’s license and be able to obtain Transportation of Dangerous Goods Certification


Compensation

  • Compensation for the position is based on a contracted day rate of $275 (inclusive of vacation pay), with a meal allowance.
