Kitchen / Made-to-Order Team Member - DeLallo Italian Marketplace Job Type: Full-time or Part-time DeLallo Italian Marketplace is excited to announce the grand opening of our new Made-to-Order Department, and we are looking for energetic, dependable, food-loving team members to join our kitchen and food service team. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working with fresh food, helping customers, and being part of a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. Position Summary Kitchen and Made-to-Order Team Members will help prepare and serve fresh, high-quality foods for our customers. This may include sandwiches, salads, prepared foods, specialty items, and other made-to-order menu offerings. Team members will help bring the new department to life and play an important role in creating an excellent customer experience. Schedule Kitchen and Made-to-Order positions may be available as full-time or part-time. All positions require weekend availability. To meet business needs, some employees may be required to come in early to help prepare the store for opening. Shifts may begin at 5:00 AM or earlier, based on department needs. Major holidays are off with pay. Responsibilities Prepare fresh made-to-order food items for customers Assist with food prep, portioning, cooking support, and line service Provide friendly customer service in a food service setting Follow recipes, portion standards, and presentation expectations Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary work area Follow food safety, sanitation, and company procedures Restock ingredients, supplies, and service areas as needed Work as part of a team to keep service moving efficiently Assist with opening, closing, and daily department needs Qualifications Previous kitchen, deli, food prep, restaurant, grocery, or food service experience is preferred but not required Ability to follow recipes, portion sizes, and food preparation instructions Passion for food and quality service Dependable, punctual, and willing to learn Ability to work in a fast-paced environment Comfortable standing, moving, and working with food throughout the shift Strong teamwork and communication skills Friendly and customer-focused attitude Weekend availability is required
