WHAT YOU'LL DOAs a Life Enrichment Assistant, you'll play a key role in bringing life, laughter, and connection to our residents through thoughtfully planned programs and events. You will:
  • Plan and lead activities that support residents' social, spiritual, emotional, physical, and cognitive well-being.

  • Welcome new residents and help them engage in the community.

  • Assist with developing monthly activity calendars and coordinating group events and outings.

  • Decorate the campus for holidays and special occasions.

  • Collaborate with community partners for intergenerational and external events.

  • Transport residents to and from activities as needed.

  • Maintain activity supply inventories and provide input on new program ideas.

  • Ensure accurate and timely documentation in accordance with state and federal regulations.

  • Support the Life Enrichment team with other duties as assigned.

WHAT YOU NEED
  • A valid driver's license in the state of Indiana and a clean driving record.
  • Two (2) years of experience in long-term care, recreation, wellness, or a related field preferred.
  • A heart for service, strong organizational skills, and a creative spirit.
  • Ability to safely transport residents and qualify for coverage under the company's motor vehicle insurance policy.
  • Willingness to participate in continuing education to enhance your skills and support innovative programming.
