Job description

Overseeing the gift shop and sales. As an employee, I am committed to doing my part to fulfill the mission, vision, and values of Decatur Morgan Hospital.  I will provide my patients, guests, coworkers, physicians, and customers with the highest quality of service and ensure their needs are met with the utmost courtesy and respect.  This commitment must be reflected in my behavior.


Inventory

  • Assists with maintaining inventory of and ordering "staple" items and supplies
  • Assists with receipt of merchandise, unpacking and packing slip/order reconciliation    
  • Assists with entering merchandise into Retail Pro software, scanning and pricing inventory. 
  • Assists with annual inventory audit.

 

Merchandising

  • Wraps Gifts
  • Replaces sold items to keep shop stocked with merchandise, re-organizes and keeps shop clean and orderly.

Daily Operations

  • Responsible for Gift Shop retail sales and customer service.
  • Receives and fills telephone orders.
  • Operates cash register

Minimum Knowledge, Skills, Experience Required: Word, ExcelEducation: High School Diploma – some college preferred.

Experience: Administrative experience preferred.
