The Surgical Medical Care Center (SMCC) at Deaconess Midtown is a 43-bed private room unit that cares for a diverse patient population, including trauma patients, post-operative recoveries, bariatric surgeries, genitourinary procedures, head and neck cases, and complex medical conditions. The variety of patients and procedures creates an environment where nurses are constantly learning, growing, and expanding their clinical expertise.
